It may be impossible to capture the magic of playing a classic video game for the first time, but that hasn't stopped fans from trying. YouTuber CryZENx has been recreating iconic games like Mario, Pokémon, and Legend of Zelda using the latest game design software. His latest is a stunning tour of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's volcanic Death Mountain Crater stage, rendered in Unreal Engine 4. The lava is luscious, the rocks rock, and Link has ninja-like reflexes that look awesome with the new graphics. Unfortunately there's no grappling hook action, nor do you learn a new tune on your ocarina, but it's still a pleasant walk down memory lane.See more of CryZENx's work on his YouTube channel.Related:'Goldeneye 007' Gets an Unreal MakeoverMario, Charmander, and More Meet the Unreal Gaming EngineExplore a 3D Environment Made of Magritte PaintingsReed + Rader Return With Diabolical, 3D Fashion GIFs
